UNC Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Carrboro, North Carolina. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in conducting routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
Key Responsibilities- Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
- Prepares for and assists the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures, including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Performs patient assessments and provides patient care.
- Evaluates the appropriateness of examination and assesses the quality of radiographic images.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
