We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at K&A Appliance Inc. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing major household appliances in customers' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers' homes
- Assist with service repairs in our warehouse when needed
- Prepare invoices and collect payments on completed service calls and any parts or additional labor costs from customers
- Maintain our service van and keep it stocked with parts used on a regular basis
- Communicate effectively with our Service Coordinator regarding service calls and any issues that arise
- At least 3 years of experience servicing/repairing major household appliances as a full-time employed technician
- A clean and valid driver's license
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with assistance or leverage device
- Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and checking for leaks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Mechanical skills and a willingness to learn new things
- Able to work well under pressure and respond in a professional and courteous manner in all situations
- A competitive salary of $30.00 per hour
