We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Line Operator to join our team at Lauridsen Group, Inc. As a Production Line Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient collection of bovine plasma in compliance with FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and/or Shift Lead
  • Prepare collection containers utilizing plastic liners, ensuring proper placement to eliminate contamination hazards
  • Responsible for proper placement of collection containers within the hide of the animal
  • Safely operate line equipment, including hydraulic line manipulators, to remove collection containers from hides for placement onto conveyor lines
  • Notify Proliant management team of any major safety or equipment issues in a timely manner
  • Responsible for timely attendance in accordance with shift schedules

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle materials in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to learn to handle edible and inedible protein materials in accordance with established sanitary procedures and practices
  • Ability to understand and follow established work procedures, including mandated sanitary and safety guidelines
  • Ability to learn and safely operate various types of equipment/machinery required in job duties
  • Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and situations as they arise, notifying appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality

Working Conditions:

Production Line Operators will be exposed to various chemicals used during processing and clean-up, high noise levels, moving machinery/equipment, and prolonged standing on concrete floors.
