Job Summary and Qualifications
As a registered nurse, you will provide patient-centered nursing care and engage in patient and family education.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, and patient care support staff, you will develop and implement a care plan tailored to meet each patient's individual needs.
Utilizing computerized documentation systems, you will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
As part of the clinical team, you will coordinate patient discharge planning needs with other healthcare team members.
When interacting with patients, visitors, co-workers, and other stakeholders, you will uphold cultural and diversity awareness, among other responsibilities.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
- 1 year of critical care experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
