The Patient Care Specialist role at MaineHealth utilizes professional nursing processes to assess patient needs and provides a wide range of patient care services to support physicians in delivering excellent care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse required
- One year of RN experience required; two years of relevant experience preferred
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave, flexible work policy, student loan assistance, and well-being resources.
