Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing: Sort, price, and stock items efficiently to meet daily, weekly, and monthly processing goals, driving revenue generation for the store.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting every customer with respect, optimism, and joy, answering questions, assisting needs, and sharing the mission of Vapor Ministries.
  • Opening/Closing: Perform and complete opening/closing checklist procedures if scheduled.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace during operating hours and ensure it is left ready for the next day.
  • Receiving: Provide backup for receiving during high traffic/high donation times or assist in closing receiving during closing shifts if needed.

Requirements:

  • Skillset: Highly organized, able to work at an efficient and high output, and possess knowledge of or growing knowledge of items in department(s).
  • Presentation Skills: Decisive and able to quickly and efficiently evaluate merchandise quality, price, and presentation.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and lift up to 50 pounds depending on department.

Time Requirements:

This role requires between 8-40 hours per week depending on need and availability.

Travel Requirements:

Minimal local travel is required except for once-monthly staff meetings within 20 minutes of the store.

Salary: $13-$15/hour based on experience and qualifications.
