Chief of Staff

Role: Chief of Staff

Sector: Lithium-Ion Battery

Location: On-Site

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary + bonus & equity

About Us:

We are a cutting-edge Lithium-Ion Battery start-up that specializes in high-energy density devices and battery materials processing. We are seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and board members. This role will involve managing high-level executive interactions, government relations, and administrative tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Calendar Management: Organize and manage the CEO's calendar and meetings with other CEOs.
  • Board Planning: Coordinate board activities and create accurate PowerPoint presentations.
  • Government Relations: Assist with external relations as a face of the organization.
  • Executive Communication: Confidently interface with board members and other senior executives.
  • Administrative Support: Oversee executive administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when dealing with senior executives.
  • Proven ability to handle board-level responsibilities.
  • Government relations or HR experience is a bonus.
  • Proficient in administrative functions and executive support.
