Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kafka administration, including creating topics, managing Kafka clusters, and ensuring high availability and scalability.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of practical experience in Java/J2EE, Linux, Spring, Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, and EJB.
  • Experience working with cloud technology Azure, OpenShift, AWS, and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of software development patterns, object-oriented design principles, and coding techniques.
  • Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

The Kafka Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Kafka.
  • Ensuring the high availability and scalability of Kafka clusters.
  • Managing Kafka topics, partitions, and replication factors.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting Kafka performance issues.
