Registered Dietitian Nutritionist II

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist II to join our dynamic team at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop patient-focused treatment plans using clinical research, advanced technology, and evidence-based practice.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
- Manage the nutrition care process, including determining nutrition diagnoses and planning and implementing nutrition interventions.
- Stay current with scientific literature and educate staff, patients, and families on nutritional strategies to support quality of life and clinical outcomes.
- Participate in research and outcomes initiatives to improve nutrition approaches and contribute to the growth of individuals through continuous learning and mentoring.
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Eligibility for registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 3 years of experienced practice able to work with minimal supervision.
