Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian Nutritionist II to join our dynamic team at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior outpatient education experience and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans using clinical research, advanced technology, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay current with scientific literature and provide education to staff, patients, and families on nutritional strategies to support quality of life and clinical outcomes.
- Manage the nutrition care process, including comprehensive assessments, determining nutrition diagnoses, and planning and implementing interventions.
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
