Position Overview

The State of Nevada Division of Human Resource Management is seeking a skilled Management Analyst 2 to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

As a Management Analyst 2, your primary duties will include:

1. **Leadership and Supervision**: Oversee and mentor assigned staff, ensuring effective performance evaluation and training.
2. **Policy Development**: Create, implement, and uphold policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
3. **Budget Assistance**: Collaborate in the preparation and management of the Division's budget.
4. **Data Analysis**: Research and compile data for reports, recommendations, and market surveys related to statewide rental rates and building operating costs.
5. **Project Management**: Undertake special projects and assignments in support of the Section Supervisor and Division Administrator.
6. **Representation**: Attend meetings and represent the Division on matters concerning leasing and contracts.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics, or a related field, along with two years of relevant professional experience; or
- A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with four years of relevant professional experience; or
- One year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of a fingerprint-based background check as a condition of employment.
