Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Morrison Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our doctors and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, assist with treatments, and perform diagnostics and monitoring as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments.
  • Provide patient dental care, including ultrasonic cleaning and polishing.
  • Collect, prepare, and run or submit samples for requested tests.
  • Communicate with clients regarding hospitalized patients, provide discharge instructions, and offer follow-up care.
  • Assist with reception and front desk duties as needed.
Qualifications

We are looking for a veterinary technician with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia, and anesthetic monitoring. You must be proficient in monitoring multiple parameters, including SPO2, CO2, ECG, blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of pets, so you must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service.
