Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing medical care to our patients, assisting our doctors with procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, assist with treatments, and perform diagnostics and monitoring
  • Assist with anesthesia and surgery, including prep, induction, maintenance, and recovery
  • Provide patient dental care, including ultrasonic cleaning and polishing
  • Position patients and assist with radiographs, sending radiographs via email
  • Collect, prepare, and run or submit samples for requested tests
  • Prepare invoices, discharge instructions, and client informational tools
  • Communicate with clients regarding hospitalized patients, provide follow-up care, and educate clients on at-home care procedures
  • Assist with reception and front desk duties, including answering phones, booking appointments, and admitting/discharging patients
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about animal care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of veterinary medical procedures and terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
