Position Overview:
KellyMitchell Group is in search of a Digital Product Manager to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This role will take charge of overseeing and ensuring the success of initiatives within our technology platform. The selected candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external technology partners to guarantee that all system-related efforts align with our overarching strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will document, evaluate, and prioritize technology initiatives among a diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment and minimizing departmental silos. This position requires close partnership with IT and vendor teams to manage all technology outputs, including development, maintenance, and performance enhancement metrics. A solid understanding of the cargo operating system and its functionalities is essential to identify synergies across various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the cargo operating system.
- Coordinate planning and development efforts for technology outputs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Ensure that strategies and supporting actions provide competitive advantages for the cargo sector.
- Lead efforts to resolve system-related issues on behalf of the business.
- Enhance system efficiency by identifying and implementing automation and process improvements.
- Oversee the user request intake process, evaluating requests for feasibility and priority.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to direct the development and execution of workstreams, leveraging in-depth system knowledge.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key business stakeholders, IT teams, and technology vendors.
- Ensure strategic alignment with other internal teams.
- Prepare updates for leadership to keep them informed about the status of requests and developments in the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience with SkyChain or comparable airline systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience serving as the primary business owner for a technology platform.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of successfully collaborating with stakeholders on technology projects.
- Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and guide stakeholders.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is a critical function of this role.
- Demonstrated experience in the logistics sector implementing technology strategies.
