Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Procurement Analyst II. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience performing procurement-related activities, including soliciting formal bids and awarding public works contracts.

Job Description

The Procurement Analyst II will provide complex procurement analysis and support for SacRT, developing solicitation packages for procuring materials/supplies, professional, architectural and engineering services, public works, construction, and commodities. This role requires the ability to analyze proposals and determine contract strategies, solicit and schedule funding and authorizations, evaluate bid and proposals for technical compliance, and develop and monitor project management timelines and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Soliciting Formal Bids: Develop and issue solicitation packages for public works contracts, ensuring compliance with District and FTA policies and procedures.
  • Contract Administration: Coordinate multiple projects in various stages, facilitating the award of contracts, ensuring vendor compliance with contract insurance, verifying contractor's licenses, resolving back wage issues, and evaluating and approving prevailing wages and certified payroll documents.
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain project management spreadsheets, create and update purchase orders, vendor data, and related databases, prepare reports, and track and coordinate document retrievals with departments.
