Highly Skilled Armored Security Specialist

We are actively looking for committed professional team members to join our Thillens team. As an Armored Security Guard (Route Team Member), you will operate an armored vehicle and oversee the safe pick-up and delivery of cash and valuables.
You will work to ensure that every stop runs with precision and professionalism. We value teamwork and are looking for individuals who are comfortable working as part of a team.
During the first 90 days, you will start as a trainee and progress quickly to a team member, with the opportunity to become a manager of your own team.
A strong hire can quickly move from trainee to team member and then up to manager.
We offer a guaranteed minimum hourly pay range depending on seniority: $17 to $25 per hour, with potential to earn $30 per hour based on commissions from completed stops.
In addition to hourly pay, we also offer a quarterly bonus between $750 and $3,000 for maintaining the safety and security of our employees and services.
Your role as an Armored Security Guard (Route Team Member) includes:
- Maintaining the safety and security of your Thillens team members and your armored vehicle at all times.
- Operating your vehicle with safety in mind, proactive driving that protects your team and the communities we serve.
- Delivering or picking up valuables at customer locations.
- Service Gaming Machines, Pay Vaults, and ATMs.
- Reconciling customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled during daily business.
- Processing cash and making up orders in transit.
- Guarding duties.
- Other duties as directed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Completion of all Department of Transportation requirements.
- Security experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Have a Valid F.O.I.D Card for all Illinois locations.
- Ability to obtain a 108 Security Permit issued by DSPS for all Wisconsin locations.
- Trained in the use of a firearm preferred.
- A clean background and pass our required background check.
