Job OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products through meticulous manual testing and analysis. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be crucial in identifying and resolving defects, thus ensuring the stability and performance of our software.
Responsibilities:- Manual Testing Program: Develop and implement a comprehensive manual testing program for our software products, encompassing both automated and manual testing methods.
- Test Planning: Design, create, and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools to facilitate efficient resolution.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to guarantee software stability after changes.
- Insight Analysis: Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to the development team to enhance the product.
- Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights on testing progress, coverage, overall quality metrics, and enable data-driven decisions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer with manual testing expertise.
- Understanding: Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Skills: Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases, experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on clear and concise documentation.
- Performance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security testing practices.
- Affinity: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Cloud Environment: Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
