Position: MST Therapist / Qualified Professional (QP)

Job Responsibilities

As a mental health therapist, you will provide family- and community-based therapy in our Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) program. Treatment targets youth ages 12 to 17 that display serious antisocial behaviors and are at-risk of placement out of the home.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of 4-5 families, including providing direct care to each family at least three times per week.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans for each case, with ongoing assessments and reviews of treatment progress.
  • Maintaining high accessibility to clients, with a flexible schedule based around clients' availability.
  • Providing clear, timely, and specific documentation of all sessions.
  • Actively engaging in individual and group clinical supervision specific to MST duties as well as overall professional development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in the social services field, with one year of experience in clinical counseling preferred.
  • Experience providing family therapy or providing MST services is a major plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish Speaking) Therapist is a major plus.

Compensation: $47,000 to $56,00 DOE
