The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RHEL 8 administration, automation, and container orchestration using OpenShift.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert-Level Support: Provide expert-level support and guidance on RHEL 8 administration, configuration, and optimization.
- Automation Solutions: Design, implement, and manage automation solutions using Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Containerized Applications: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
- Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for RHEL 8 systems and OpenShift environments.
- Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to RHEL, AAP, and OpenShift.
Qualifications
- Clearance: TS/SCI w FSP
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in RHEL 8 administration and support.
- Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) for infrastructure automation.
- Containerization Skills: Proficiency in deploying and managing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift.
- Scripting Languages: Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and orchestration.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
