Position Overview

Primary Behavioral Health Services is a dedicated outpatient behavioral health organization committed to serving the residents of Idaho with a vision centered on compassion, acceptance, respect, empowerment, and sincerity. Our mission is to provide exceptional outpatient behavioral healthcare that fosters independence, empowerment, and support within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver skill-building and service provision aligned with the objectives outlined in the individualized treatment plan, adhering to Optum standards. This role aims to assist clients in various aspects of life, including work, education, family, and community integration, addressing mental health challenges through skill development and crisis prevention.
  • Support individuals in the community with their mental and behavioral health needs, working collaboratively towards achievable goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for service delivery, treatment evaluations, and compliance with Optum and payer requirements.
  • Utilize a laptop or device capable of running web-based applications to document client interactions while in the community.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to enhance the program and support the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to engage effectively with a diverse population.
  • Timely completion of required documentation and adherence to productivity standards.
  • Completion of all mandated training programs.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Conduct assessments, crisis interventions, and provide individual and family services.
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations, ethical standards, and professional boundaries.
  • Commitment to professional development and providing high-quality care.
Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a background in Social Work being beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by DHW.
  • Verification of valid identification, driver's license, auto insurance, and educational credentials is necessary.
