Nuclear Project Scheduler Job Description

ANR Group Inc is seeking a skilled Nuclear Project Scheduler to join our team in Richland, WA.

The hourly rate range for this position is $49-$68 per hour (plus full benefits).

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Nuclear Project Scheduler to assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects, and life-cycle schedules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling project activities, performing schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools, and ensuring timely, coherent, comprehensive, and accurate schedules for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations.
  • Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools.
  • Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects, and life-cycle schedules.
  • Develop detailed schedule development for assigned projects to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance and properly manage risk in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals.
  • Assist in the upkeep of lifecycle project schedules.
  • Maintain schedule integrity.
  • Develop and implement scheduling methodology based on industry best practice.
  • Support the Biennial refueling outage for project scheduling.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 5 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management.
  • OR Associates degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 7 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management.
  • OR High school diploma or GED and 9 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer, or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Reactor Operator License.
  • Proficiency with Passport or similar Work Management software programs and interfaces with scheduling systems.
  • Primavera Training Certification (or equivalent), Passport to Primavera scheduling program interface.
  • Working knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
  • PMP certification.
