Position Overview:

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a qualified individual to engage on-site with our client in a Project Scheduler capacity. This role is pivotal in orchestrating project timelines for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project schedules utilizing both Passport and Primavera scheduling tools, while also collaborating with various project managers to formulate schedules for operational, outage, and life-cycle projects. This is a full-time opportunity based in Richland, WA.

Compensation: $75.13 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate comprehensive schedules for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules while effectively managing risks in alignment with station protocols and objectives.
  • Assist in the maintenance of lifecycle project schedules.
  • Ensure the integrity of project schedules.
  • Develop and implement scheduling methodologies grounded in industry best practices.
  • Provide support for the biennial refueling outage in relation to project scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear power generation within operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management.
  • Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a relevant technical field and 7 years of nuclear power generation experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant experience in a journey-level craft, qualified watch station, field engineering, or Quality Control roles.
  • Possession of a Reactor Operator License.
  • Expertise in work management and outage work processes.
  • Familiarity with Passport or similar Work Management software and its integration with scheduling systems.
  • Primavera Training Certification (or equivalent) is required.
  • Proficient in report development software (e.g., Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Programs and risk management processes.
  • Strong knowledge of work control processes and the implications of isolating, testing, and restoring plant systems and equipment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various disciplines to create integrated plant schedules.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively.
