Position Overview:

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a qualified individual to engage on-site with our client in a Project Scheduler capacity. This role is essential for orchestrating project timelines within the Nuclear or Engineering Projects sectors. Responsibilities include managing schedule updates between Passport and Primavera scheduling platforms and collaborating with various project managers to formulate schedules for both online and outage projects, as well as life-cycle schedules. This is a full-time opportunity located in Richland, WA.

Compensation: $75.13 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft comprehensive schedules for assigned projects to ensure compliance with Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules, effectively managing risks in line with operational procedures and objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining lifecycle project schedules.
  • Ensure the integrity of project schedules.
  • Develop and implement scheduling methodologies rooted in industry best practices.
  • Support the biennial refueling outage through effective project scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology, accompanied by 5 years of experience in nuclear power generation across operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management;
  • OR an Associate's degree in a relevant technical field with 7 years of nuclear power generation experience;
  • OR a High school diploma or GED with 9 years of experience in a journey-level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer, or Quality Control role within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
  • Possession of a Reactor Operator License.
  • Proficiency in work management and outage work processes.
  • Experience with Passport or similar Work Management software and its integration with scheduling systems.
  • Primavera Training Certification (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with report development software (e.g., Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Primavera 106 Training Certification (or equivalent) and knowledge of Passport to Primavera scheduling program interface.
  • Understanding of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Programs and risk management processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across various disciplines to create integrated plant schedules.
  • Experience in directing resources and establishing priorities for scheduling activities.
