Job Opportunity

Kid Angles: The Early Education School is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to fill a Team Teaching position in our licensed home, working with children 6 weeks -1.5 years of age. As a Team Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care, nurturing learning environments, and stimulating activities throughout the day.

Responsibilities
  • Treat all children with dignity and respect
  • Model communication and mediate conflict resolution
  • Diaper Changing
  • Support children and families with bottle feeding
  • Planning and implementing provocations and activities for children based on observation of children's needs and interest
  • Plan and prepare the learning environment to best serve the children within the classroom
  • Serve meals
  • Observe, record, and report behavior of children and their development
  • Maintain progress of records/ portfolios of each child's growth and development
  • Participate in professional organizations that work for the improvement of early childhood education
  • Attend school functions
  • Conduct regular formal and/or informal parent/teacher conferences on each child's school adjustment, classroom behavior, and developmental progress
  • Work in collaboration with families to promote understanding of their child's growth and development; encourage parent participation within the school community
  • Supervise the classroom at all times
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, and co-workers
  • Delegate tasks and communicate instructions to support staff
  • General Housekeeping tasks such as but not limited to, decluttering, sanitizing/disinfecting, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, etc.
Requirements
  • Professionally prepared as an educator of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education and/or child development, meeting the requirements of licensing agencies and accrediting organizations. A warm, sensitive, mature individual who relates to children and adults.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • A degree (Associate or above) in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or equivalent (CDA is an equivalent)
