Position Overview:
This role involves traveling between various UTHealth Houston locations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and preparing for patient visits, ensuring all necessary schedules, test results, and clinic-specific requirements are ready.
- Room patients according to clinic needs, documenting essential information such as chief complaints, vital signs, medication lists, and medical histories.
- Perform various clinical tasks as required, including hearing and vision tests, EKGs, spirometry, and specimen collection, following competency validation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinic rooms and supplies, preparing them for patient visits.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals, while also managing routine clerical tasks such as photocopying and faxing.
- Conduct telephone messaging and in-person screenings, ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
- Minimum of six months of relevant experience or completion of an approved Medical Assistant Training Program.
