Key Responsibilities:
- Focus Area: Engage in diverse casework, primarily assisting Child Protective Services (CPS) personnel in various locations while also supporting Permanency Workers.
- Community Interaction: Foster connections with community stakeholders, caseworkers, and families. Your role will emphasize relationship-building across diverse groups, including participation in community outreach initiatives.
- Comprehensive Assistance: Provide essential support by addressing service gaps, supervising family interactions, and facilitating transportation to necessary appointments.
- Administrative Duties: Manage a range of administrative tasks, including data entry, processing funding requests, managing referrals, and assisting caseworkers with documentation.
- One year of experience in supporting professionals within specialized social programs, or
- Relevant certification in fields such as Child Development or Early Childhood Education, or
- College coursework in relevant areas like sociology or psychology, or
- An associate degree in a non-related field combined with six months of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, demonstrating reliability and responsiveness.
- Experience in engaging and collaborating with community partners and diverse populations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Office 365.
- Commitment to trauma-informed practices and inclusivity.
- Skills in conflict resolution and effective collaboration.
- Work will occur in various settings, including offices and community locations.
- Travel between different sites may be required.
- Expect a professional work schedule with potential for flexible hours based on service demands.
- Interaction with sensitive topics related to trauma and crisis situations is expected.
