Your Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, initiate, coordinate, and oversee business relationships with selected suppliers within a designated geographical region and category focus.
  • Assist in the development of market assessments and execute category strategies.
  • Formulate, align across divisions or functions, and implement effective purchasing strategies and negotiation techniques in the designated area.
  • Continuously monitor the supply market and manage the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, sustainability, and adherence to contractual and legal obligations.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms within the framework of Supplier Management Assignments and oversee supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage the assigned category, including purchase price planning and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
Your Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in procurement.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, project management, and problem-solving.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Proficient in personal computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in material requirements planning.
