Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, initiate, coordinate, and oversee business relationships with designated suppliers within a specific geographical region and category focus.
2. Assist in conducting market analyses and executing category strategies.
3. Formulate, align across divisions or functions, and implement profitable procurement strategies along with effective negotiation approaches in the designated area.
4. Continuously monitor the supply market and manage the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, sustainability, and adherence to contractual terms and legal standards.
5. Negotiate pricing and conditions within the framework of Supplier Management Assignments (SMA) and oversee supplier contracts.
6. Coordinate and manage the assigned category, including purchase price planning and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
- Minimum one year of experience in procurement.
- Strong skills in negotiation, project management, and problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
- Proficient in personal computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in material requirements planning.
