Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategically plan, initiate, coordinate, and oversee business relationships with designated suppliers within a specific geographical region and category focus.
2. Assist in the development of market analyses and execute category strategies effectively.
3. Formulate, align across divisions or functions, and implement profitable procurement strategies along with efficient negotiation tactics within the assigned category.
4. Continuously monitor the supply market and manage the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, sustainability, and adherence to contractual terms and legal regulations.
5. Negotiate pricing and conditions as part of Supplier Management Assignments (SMA) and oversee supplier contracts.
6. Coordinate and manage the assigned category, including purchase price planning and identifying savings initiatives.

Your Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
- Minimum one year of experience in procurement.
- Strong skills in negotiation, project management, and problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
- Proficient in personal computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Ability to comprehend blueprints.

Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in material requirements planning.
