Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance department, ensuring all maintenance needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and extend the lifespan of our facilities.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Work with outside contractors and vendors to ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring all expenses are within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes, including OSHA and state and local fire codes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certificate preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, climb, push, and stretch, as well as move heavy furniture and equipment.
