At Cooper University Health Care, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Radiation Therapist, you'll play a vital role in our team's mission to provide innovative and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation treatment to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription
• Perform CT Simulation as ordered by the Radiation Oncologist to optimize the patient's treatment position in comfort and reproducibility
• Utilize the hospital and Radiation Oncology EMR systems to record patient treatment delivery, document patient positioning information, and communicate any pertinent information regarding the patient's care coordination
• Ensure a positive and compassionate patient experience by providing support and education
• Perform daily morning QA on linear accelerators and CT simulator
• Participate in on-call procedure
• Schedule patients for simulation and treatment
• Perform daily billing for treatment and simulation
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
• Mold Room Duties
• Demonstrate commitment to collaborative professional relationships with physicians and all members of the health care team

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Elekta Infinity Linear Accelerators, Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators, Elekta Unity MR Linear Accelerator, AlignRT, Brachytherapy, Philips Big Bore CT, and Mosaiq
• EPIC system experience
• High School Diploma and graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
• ARRRT and NJ STATE LICENSURE IN RADIATION THERAPY certifications
