Radiation Therapist

At Cooper University Health Care, we are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering radiation treatment to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing CT Simulation as ordered by the Radiation Oncologist to optimize the patient's treatment position in comfort and reproducibility
* Utilizing the hospital and Radiation Oncology EMR systems to record patient treatment delivery, document patient positioning information, and communicate any pertinent information regarding the patient's care coordination
* Ensuring a positive and compassionate patient experience by providing support and education
* Performing daily morning QA on linear accelerators and CT simulator
* Participating in on-call procedure
* Scheduling patients for simulation and treatment
* Performing daily billing for treatment and simulation
* Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work areas
* Demonstrating commitment to collaborative professional relationships with physicians and all members of the health care team

Requirements:
* Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
* Licensure, Certification, and Registration: ARRT, NJ STATE LICENSURE IN RADIATION THERAPY
* Experience: 0-2 years
* Education: High School / GED, Bachelor's Degree
