About Us

SCHOTT North America's Lighting and Imaging Business Unit offers innovative lighting and image transmission solutions for various industries, including automotive, aviation, medical devices, and industrial safety engineering.

Your Contribution
  • Perform corrective, preventative, predictive, safety, and emergency repairs to electrical machinery and electronic equipment used in our manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot facility wiring, electronic controls, and process equipment to ensure efficient production.
  • Accurately record maintenance activities using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
  • Collaborate with engineering personnel to evaluate and resolve process and project issues.
  • Assist in building and grounds maintenance as needed.
  • Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work overtime as required and respond to emergency call-ins.
Your Profile
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years' electromechanical training and PLC knowledge for troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
  • Four years' experience in mechanical, electrical repair, and PLC troubleshooting and repair for production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
