Your ContributionAs an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing corrective, preventative, predictive, safety, and emergency repairs to electrical machinery and electronic equipment used in our manufacturing processes.
You will troubleshoot facility wiring, electronic controls, including servo/stepper motor controls, process equipment, and general mechanical equipment.
Accurate records will be maintained via an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
You will also troubleshoot machine and system failures in a timely manner and provide appropriate corrective actions.
Schematics, blueprints, and diagrams will be used to aid in effective troubleshooting of electronic hardware, vacuum systems, hydraulic systems, basic mechanical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Calibration of electronic controllers and maintenance of accurate records are also essential duties.
You will provide project support on internal projects and assist Engineering personnel in conducting process and project evaluation and problem solving.
Teamwork and good housekeeping are essential in this role.
Your ProfileWe are looking for a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician with a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years' electromechanical training and PLC knowledge for troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
Four years' experience in mechanical, electrical repair, and PLC troubleshooting and repair for production equipment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software are also essential.
Self-motivation and a results-oriented approach are necessary for success in this role.
Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination are also required.
