This role offers a unique chance to influence the transformation of an industry rife with inefficiencies and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure on AWS to support our expanding applications and services.
  • Automate the processes of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using contemporary DevOps methodologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to refine CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and delivery of code developed in TypeScript and React.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability and reliability across our platform.
  • Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) practices with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage our AWS environment effectively.
  • Optimize resource usage and manage cloud expenditures while ensuring the scalability and performance of our applications.
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of security best practices throughout our infrastructure and application lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • A seasoned DevOps/SRE Engineer with over 5 years of practical experience in managing and scaling cloud infrastructure, particularly on AWS.
  • Proficient in TypeScript and React, with a strong ability to work closely with development teams to enhance their workflows and deployments.
  • Experienced in constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with a solid grasp of modern DevOps tools and practices.
  • Skilled in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential infrastructure challenges before they affect operations.
  • Adept communicator, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Enthusiastic about automation, security, and continuous improvement, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
