Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and oversee AWS cloud environments utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation. The ideal candidate will work closely with blockchain engineers to enhance the performance and security of distributed ledger technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and manage AWS cloud infrastructure leveraging Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to facilitate efficient code deployment and integration.
  • Collaborate with blockchain specialists to ensure the security and performance of applications.
  • Guarantee high availability and disaster recovery of applications across diverse technology stacks.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver effective solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and development.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, TechOps, or Cloud Architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in AWS environments.
  • Experience with microservices in production settings, particularly using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in Linux OS-level operations, command-line/scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience in provisioning compute resources on cloud platforms using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of applying knowledge to make informed decisions and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience in constructing Microservice-based architectures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to design and implement complex automated infrastructures that are manageable.
  • A commitment to knowledge sharing, teaching, and collaborative learning.
  • AWS certifications are advantageous.

While experience with blockchain applications is preferred, it is not mandatory.
