Position Overview
This role is primarily field-based, and the preferred candidate will be located in the Greater St. Louis, MO or Springfield, MO region. When not in the field, work will be conducted from a home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop or review detailed estimates of damages for both first and third-party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of all policy types offered by the company.
- Facilitate negotiations for settlements, process payments, and maintain thorough documentation for complex claims across various lines.
- Assess settlement options by ensuring compliance with regulations and fair claims practices, making informed decisions on the best course of action.
- Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- At least two years of relevant experience is preferred.
Supervisory Role
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
Compensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
