Position Summary:

The Fraud Prevention Assistant plays a crucial role in protecting evo from fraudulent activities. Working in tandem with the Fraud Analyst, Customer Care Manager, and Customer Care team, this position is tasked with identifying and reducing fraud risks. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, resolving chargeback disputes, communicating with potentially suspicious customers, and continuously improving fraud prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough manual reviews of orders to detect potential fraudulent transactions.
  • Document and address chargeback disputes promptly to minimize financial impact.
  • Work to decrease false positives from automated screening systems.
  • Adjust fraud prevention protocols seasonally to adapt to changing threats while maintaining an acceptable review rate.
  • Engage with customers proactively before escalating orders for further verification, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Assist the Customer Care team with fraud-related inquiries and provide necessary guidance.
  • Generate and analyze reports to identify fraud trends and patterns.
  • Communicate with suspected customers via phone and email, maintaining professionalism and composure.
  • Collaborate on the development, testing, and periodic updates of fraud prevention measures based on emerging risks.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, showcasing effective interaction skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, fostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated reliability, resourcefulness, and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
