Job Title: Risk Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Intelligence Analyst to join our Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) Organization. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in risk intelligence and a strong understanding of risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk intelligence assessments for existing and new lines of business, stores, and payment products to identify potential risks and reputational exposure points.
  • Collaborate with Risk Managers, Program/Product Managers, and other risk teams to identify key risk indicators and develop mitigation strategies to reduce fraud, abuse, and misuse on our platform.
  • Develop and maintain risk intelligence programs and mechanisms to support the reduction of active threats to Amazon.
  • Provide clear and concise written and verbal communication to diverse stakeholders throughout the assessment journey.
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives for the Risk Intelligence program.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials.
  • Experience with SQL and Excel.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
