Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team at BioReference Health, LLC. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of phlebotomists and ensuring the smooth operation of our phlebotomy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of phlebotomists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and service.
  • Staff Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the scheduling of phlebotomists to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient use of resources.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing education to phlebotomists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and safety in phlebotomy services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, healthcare providers, and other BioReference Health, LLC staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in a phlebotomy or related field, managing a team of 20+ employees.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills, phlebotomy certification in states where required, and valid driver's license.
