About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Intern. As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and quotes in a timely and courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide follow-up on customer quotations and order backlogs to ensure accurate invoicing and timely delivery.
- Review purchase orders to determine if customer expectations can be met.
- Interact with the parts expedite team to investigate parts delivery issues.
- Support the parts team and customer service inbox by responding to or forwarding customer inquiries.
- Assist Accounts Payable/Receivable with basic accounting functions such as processing credits for returns and receiving purchase orders.
- Address concerns resulting from customer errors.
- Assist with authorizations for parts to be returned to our warehouses.
Requirements
- High school diploma; Associates degree in business or related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Strong desire to provide quality service with a team approach to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Strong PC skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Candidate must be able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
