Job Summary:

Bunge is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Grain Handling Specialist in our Griggsville, Illinois facility. As a Grain Handling Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and sanitary operation of the grain elevator, handling loading, unloading, and transferring of grain and grain products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring grain products to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Operate and monitor advanced grain handling equipment to optimize production and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Record documentation accurately and maintain up-to-date records of grain handling activities
  • Assist with grain receiving and weighing to ensure accurate inventory management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the agriculture industry
  • Agricultural experience is highly preferred
  • Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a safety-conscious environment and adhere to company policies and procedures
