Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of OR nurses, ensuring excellent patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve OR efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless OR operations.
- Monitor and analyze OR performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate OR staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest OR technologies, techniques, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited BSN program required, Master's Degree preferred, with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State.
- Minimum of five years of progressing operating room nursing experience, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
