Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
  • Maintain Controlled Medication and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, medication orders, and other relevant data.
  • Develop and Implement Business Solutions: Identify business needs, determine and carry out necessary processes and practices, and monitor progress and results.
  • Model Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures: Comply with policies and procedures, demonstrate ethical performance, and support efforts to enforce compliance.
  • Adapt to Changing Situations: Demonstrate creativity and strength in the face of change, obstacles, and adversity, and adapt to competing demands and shifting priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • License: Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Training: Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a retail or clinical environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in pharmacy software and systems.
