ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Our team specializes in operations, processes, and efficiency, ensuring a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining product availability, accurate pricing, and proper signage on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team oversees inbound and outbound logistics, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and promotional activities across all General Merchandise sections. This team also manages Food & Beverage and Food Service, ensuring a fresh and safe experience for our guests.

As an Inbound Specialist, you will gain:

  • Insight into guest service fundamentals and experience fostering a guest-first culture throughout the store.
  • Knowledge of retail business principles, including sales trends, inventory management, and process optimization.
  • Experience in executing daily and weekly tasks to support business objectives and achieve sales targets.
Typical responsibilities include:
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting all guests sincerely.
  • Observing guest behavior to assess their needs and tailoring your approach accordingly.
  • Engaging with guests genuinely, asking questions to understand their specific requirements.
  • Being knowledgeable about available tools, products, and services to enhance the guest experience.
  • Expressing gratitude to guests and reinforcing their choice to shop with us.
  • Executing precise and efficient sorting operations.
  • Stocking and organizing products on the sales floor.
  • Maintaining inventory levels for General Merchandise categories.
  • Operating power equipment safely and in compliance with certification requirements.
  • Working with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Managing defective items and handling environmentally sensitive materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Identifying and correcting hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supporting guest services, including backup cashier duties and order pickup, while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Performing additional duties as needed based on business requirements.
