Job Title: Physical Therapy Technician

At Team Rehabilitation Services, LLC, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and exceptional opportunities for our team members. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of treatment and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist therapists in providing high-quality treatment, focusing on welcoming and comforting patients to prepare them for physical therapy.
  • Display excellent customer service skills and provide encouragement to patients as needed.
  • Follow the plan of care established for each patient by the therapist.
  • Assist therapists with non-clinical tasks and support patients in achieving their recovery objectives.
  • Educate patients on equipment use, ensuring safe and correct operation.
  • Assist patients with light exercises and strengthening techniques.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities, such as heat/ice packs and electrical stimulation, under the guidance of therapists.
  • Provide assistance with patient mobility, using proper techniques to ensure safety.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, physicians, staff members, and other stakeholders, including follow-ups as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients and colleagues.
  • Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and equipped with sanitized equipment.
  • Comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor and record patient progress and changes to the physical therapist.
Qualifications:
  • No required education or experience necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ideal candidate will be pursuing a physical therapist or other healthcare degree.
