Job Summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bariatric Accreditation Program Coordinator, RN to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing oversight, coordination, and clinical leadership to our bariatric nursing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the bariatric nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and performance improvement activities.
  • Lead and delegate staff on respective shifts, ensuring adequate staffing and patient care.
  • Identify and communicate capital equipment needs, and provide input into the development and management of unit-specific budgets.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience in acute patient care, preferably in a bariatric setting.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
  • Knowledge of research utilization, evidenced-based practice, and best practice recommendations.
