    • Follow prep lists created by chefs to ensure accurate and timely preparation of ingredients.
  • Food Preparation
    • Measure and prepare ingredients such as stock, sauces, and vegetables for use in the cooking process.
    • Prepare simple dishes, such as soups, salads, and desserts, to the standards of our restaurant.
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
  • Quality Control
    • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients, to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Minimum 6 months of experience in a prep or cook position.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures for ingredients and food preparation.
    • Able to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow direct orders and recipes, and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of our restaurant.
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knives for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing.
    • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and handle extreme heat for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
