We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Urban Recovery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment to individuals struggling with substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations, including relevant history and health assessments, to identify patient needs and develop a differential diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement prioritized treatment plans, incorporating diagnostic tests, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, and patient education.
  • Provide systematic follow-up to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Offer educational resources and support to empower patients in making informed decisions about their health.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, and participate in medical groups and educational seminars for patients.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Current/valid New York State Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
  • Certified as a nurse practitioner with prescription writing privileges
  • DEA license
  • Current basic life support for health providers (BLS)
  • ANCC credentialing and certification
