Job Overview

Position Summary

The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests throughout the establishment, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process guest orders, serve beverages, and handle payments in a polite and efficient manner while adhering to cash handling protocols.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction in designated areas and assist in other sections as needed.
  • Comply with state liquor regulations and TIPS training guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas at all times.
  • Follow beverage control procedures diligently.
  • Abide by all relevant regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly reporting any concerns to management.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
  • Adhere to the property’s Beverage Icon standards, a system for guests to request beverage service.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a Mixology certification.
  • Preferred certifications include I.P.S. and Sanitation.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for the role, including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return, providing each individual with a memorable entertainment experience.
  • Must exhibit enthusiasm, excitement, and a professional demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Uniform Standards

  • Must be able to wear the designated Cocktail Server uniform, available in various sizes.

Work Environment

  • May encounter environmental factors typical of a casino, such as secondhand smoke and elevated noise levels.
  • Job duties require frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • The work environment is fast-paced, often crowded, and noisy, with constant public interaction.

Additional Information

Preference in hiring practices is given to Native Americans, with first preference to members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by members of other federally recognized tribes.

Final candidates must complete a background check to obtain gaming licensure, which may include credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screenings.
